Traditionally, the process of developing a web site has been expensive and complicated, especially for smaller companies with low levels of technical knowledge and experience. Furthermore, many people feel that they are confused about what the site is supposed to accomplish.  WebTech Sellers was founded in 2001 by Sue Sellers, a former web technologist for the Information Technology Department of the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

WebTech Sellers is truly an internationally-based company, as Sue got started in free-lance web development while overseas as a military spouse, working for charity organizations by building webs and offering them Internet solutions. In 2005 WebTech Sellers began to offer PHP solutions as a response to the need of a local charity group.

WebTech Sellers does most development using PHP and MySQL. Most applications are deployed using the Apache HTTP server. The use of open source software has several advantages, such as cost and the ease of deployment over multiple platforms. Of course, we ensure that our web-based software is compatible with all of the major operating systems and browsers.
